EHS is pleased to announce its annual Lab Safety Awareness Week, Monday, Feb. 9, though Friday, Feb. 13.
This year's theme, "I Heart Lab Safety," highlights the importance of being prepared for and effectively responding to emergencies in our research environments. We invite all members of the Penn State research community—across all colleges, departments and campuses—to participate in scheduled events designed to strengthen our safety culture.

What is Lab Safety Awareness Week?
Lab Safety Awareness Week is an initiative from CSHEMA, the Campus, Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association, to promote laboratory health and safety procedures, programs, and initiatives on college campuses across the United States.
