This webpage lists all of the EHS training by program area.  They can be searched using a specific term or filtered by program.  Click on the course name to open the description.  The narratives explain who needs to take the training, if it is required or recommended, If it is a one-time training or needs to be taken more than once, the format of the training, and provides a link to the training and program webpage.

Note to Students: If you are not receiving compensation from Penn State and you have not yet taken a class on Penn State’s Learning Resource Network (LRN), you will first need to create an account using your Penn State access account.  Navigate to the LRN and click on "Login to LRN.”  The links below will then take you to the correct training.

Visual Arts Safety

Visual Arts Safety Initial Training - Non-University Park locations

This course is a one-time requirement under the Visual Arts Safety program for anyone who supervises studio staff or works in a studio at locations other than University Park

Refresher training is a separate course that is required to be completed annually starting the year after completing the initial training.

Visual Arts Safety Initial Training - University Park

This course is a one-time requirement under the Visual Arts Safety program that is required of anyone who supervises studio staff or works in a studio at University Park.

Refresher training is a separate course that is required to be completed annually starting the year after completing the initial training.

Visual Arts Safety Refresher Training

This course is to be taken annually starting the year after completing the Initial Visual Arts Safety Training by everyone who supervises studio staff or works in a studio. This refresher training covers all Penn State locations.

PLEASE NOTE:  For those taking the course annually, you must click on the link below and “Request” the training each year to open a new instance of the course on your transcript.  If you go to the training from your transcript, it will not record the new date for the training on your certificate.
