Do you get a certificate for all EHS training courses?

Not all EHS training courses issue certificates, although the ones that do can be obtained through the LRN system (Cornerstone).

What courses are available through EHS?

EHS offers various safety, health, and environmental courses, many that are available on-line that can be accessed directly by logging into the University's Learning Resource Network (LRN).  Follow the guidance below to access the EHS on-line training courses:

Learning Resource Network (LRN) or Cornerstone (https://lrn.psu.edu/).  Use your standard Penn State login information to gain access to the list of safety training sessions available.  Frequently Asked Questions associated with Cornerstone is available through: (https://lrn.psu.edu/frequently-asked-questions/).

When should I click Create an Account?

Individuals not employed by Penn State but otherwise affiliated with the University will need to register for a Penn State Account using the 'Create an account' button. This includes volunteers who assist with summer camps, independent contractors, students the University does not employ, etc. Those who have not previously completed Penn State Compliance-related training fall into this category can create a new Penn State Account. If you are a returning user, you can log in using your Penn State Account username and password.

When should I click Penn State Account login?

If you have a Penn State Account (e.g., [email protected]), you can log in using the Penn State Account Login button. If you are unsure of your username or password, click the Penn State Account Login button, select 'Can't access your account?' and follow the on-screen instructions. If you previously used an LRN account to log in, please refer to the FAQ labeled "I previously used an LRN account to login, what should I do?" If you are accessing LRN for the first time and do not have a Penn State Account, you should use the 'Create an account' button to proceed.
